Bamna Kalan is a small village of 560 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bamna Kalan depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 2.06% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bamna Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Bamna Kalan's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01850800. The area of Bamna Kalan is segregated as 2.06 hectares irrigated area, 477.7 hectares unirrigated, the 4.78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 75.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell mawa and make their living.
