Baloj is a small village of 444 hectares in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baloj depends on NAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baloj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baloj's pin code is 301411[4], and village code is 00812500. The area of Baloj is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 79 hectares unirrigated, the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
