Ballar is a small village of 31835 hectares in Khajuwala Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ballar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Ballar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Ballar's pin code is 334023[4], and village code is 00559400. The area of Ballar is segregated as 5185 hectares irrigated area, 1495 hectares unirrigated, the 22666 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1684 hectare area not available for cultivation.
