Balla con noi is a 2011 Italian film directed by Cinzia Bomoll.[1]
Rome. Erica is a dancer at the National Dance Academy. The graduation exam is approaching, and although she wants to give her all, she dances badly, falls and hurts her ankle, and the world seems to collapse around her. Marco is the soul of the Avengers, a multi-ethnic gang that dances hip hop. Erica and Marco are signlings, but years ago he decided to run away from home to pursue a different lifestyle. The girl wants to get closer to him in search of support in a time of crisis, and she meets Congo, who invites her to participate in the competition. She thus discovers a world totally unknown to her, but when she tries to deepen her relationship with Marco, the distance is still too much.[2]
Marco tries to help his sister recover her love for her dance by inviting her to her opera, where she and Congo will exchange a shy kiss. Unfortunately the dance recital and the Battle are on the same day: Erica would like to be with the boys, but they convince her that her place is the Academy.[3][4]
