Baliyana is a small village of 1293 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baliyana depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 300.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baliyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baliyana's pin code is 344044[4], and village code is 02158200. The area of Baliyana is segregated as 337 hectares irrigated area, 284 hectares unirrigated, the 257 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 402 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Baliyana has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Baliyana is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1582 and has total administration over 252 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
