Bali Balm is a lip care brand that was founded after the CEO’s trip to Bali[1]. The brand is predominantly known for using Candelilla wax in their balms, which is a plant based substitute to beeswax as they recognised the controversy raised by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals regarding the processes for harvesting both beeswax and honey. The company’s product portfolio consists of a range of Lip balm which attain unique combinations of flavours, these are known to be designed in partnership with London based chef Russel Bateman[2][3].

Bali Balm also have their own pledge ‘Kiss The Planet’ which they say is a commitment to support eco-friendly production practices and to use only natural and recyclable products, ingredients and processes[4][5]. In February 2021 US based celebrity influencer Kylie Jenner also took to her Instagram story to post about Bali Balm’s products which then resulted in an increase in brand recognition and popularity[6].
