Baleur is a small village of 110.5 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baleur depends on Sahatwar (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Baleur's pin code is 277211[4], and village code is 09282200. The area of Baleur is segregated as 56 hectares irrigated area.
