Balal is a small village of 736 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Balal depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Balal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Balal's pin code is 331304[4], and village code is 00612800. The area of Balal is segregated as 697.92 hectares unirrigated, the 4.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARDARSHAHAR and Churu to sell brick and make their living.
