Bala Khera is a small village of 1024 hectares in Kishanganj Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bala Khera depends on Antah, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bala Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bala Khera's pin code is 325216[4], and village code is 03864300. The area of Bala Khera is segregated as 855.67 hectares irrigated area, 2.04 hectares unirrigated, the 142.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
