Bala Dahra is a small village of 1973 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bala Dahra depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bala Dahra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Bala Dahra's pin code is 301023[4], and village code is 00849400. The area of Bala Dahra is segregated as 104 hectares irrigated area, 240 hectares unirrigated, the 343 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 199 hectare area not available for cultivation.
