Bakshi Pura is a small village of 357 hectares in Bahraich Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bakshi Pura depends on Bahraich (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bakshi Pura's pin code is 271801[4], and village code is 06498800. The area of Bakshi Pura is segregated as 300 hectares irrigated area, 57 hectares unirrigated area. the 53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.
