Bagod is a small village of 301 hectares in Khanpur Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bagod depends on Sangod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 97.49% of the total supply, ,"", One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bagod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bagod's pin code is 326035[4], and village code is 03982200. The area of Bagod is segregated as 245.19 hectares irrigated area, 2.66 hectares unirrigated, the 43.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
