Baghpura is a small village of 507 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baghpura depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.54% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baghpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baghpura's pin code is 305022[4], and village code is 02501100. The area of Baghpura is segregated as 21.7 hectares irrigated area, 222.99 hectares unirrigated, the 58.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 203.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
