Badrani is a small village of 1285 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Badrani depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Badrani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Badrani's pin code is 344501[4], and village code is 02080600. The area of Badrani is segregated as 1116 hectares unirrigated, the 132 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
