Badodiya is a small village of 634 hectares in Rawatbhata Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Badodiya depends on Rawatbhata, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 71.39% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Badodiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Badodiya's pin code is 323307[4], and village code is 03589000. The area of Badodiya is segregated as 91.67 hectares irrigated area, 406.48 hectares unirrigated, the 107.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rawatbhata and Chittorgarh to sell earthen pot and make their living.
