Badlawala is a small village of 54 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Badlawala depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 3.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Badlawala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Badlawala's pin code is 313323[4], and village code is 03041000. The area of Badlawala is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated, the 39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
