Babra is a small village of 1402 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Babra depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 182.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Babra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Babra's pin code is 306101[4], and village code is 02409600. The area of Babra is segregated as 382 hectares irrigated area, 282 hectares unirrigated, the 143 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 475.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Pali to sell carpets and make their living.
