Babilou Family, headquartered in Paris, France, is one of the major international early education networks. Founded in France with is local brand Babilou, the group is today present in more than 12 countries worldwide (in Europe, the Middle East, South America, the United States, India, and Singapore) and operates a network of 2,300 daycares, kid’s clubs, schools (800 nurseries owned and 1,700 partner-nurseries) with 10,000 employees and nearly 50,000 families in their care.

History

Founded in France in 2003 by entrepreneurial brothers Rodolphe and Edouard Carle to bridge the gap in childcare solutions, Babilou has gradually grown to become a major international operator in early years education. Rodolphe & Edouard began with one nursery and 24 cots. Five years later, they became the leading private childcare network in France. In 2013 they started the international expansion, quickly expanding across the globe through acquisition of local brands.

Babilou Family Brand was officially born in 2019 to give a corporate umbrella to the local nursery brands. With the support of Antin Infrastructure Partners[1], which acquired an equity stake in the company at the end of 2020, the Groupe entered a new stage in its development. Xavier Ouvrard was appointed in early 2021 Chairman and CEO of Babilou Family to drive educational innovation across borders.
