Babariya is a small village of 1249 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Babariya depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 140.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Babariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Babariya's pin code is 301412[4], and village code is 00866100. The area of Babariya is segregated as 540 hectares irrigated area, 592 hectares unirrigated, the 26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
