Baba amar singh Pawan is also known as Amra , Baba amar singh Pawan is a famous folk deity in sanatan dharama. Which is mostly worshiped in Delhi, Haryana, UP and Punjab . Their history is more than 700 years old. His Guru Gorakhnath is considered and Guru Garab is also considered as his Guru . Baba amar singh Pawan is considered to be an incarnation of Shiv in kalyug . And his temple is established in yamuna Ramghat wazirabad Delhi, besides it is established in Katha. Baba Amar singh Pawan has many power run with him like Mata nathiya who nurtured him . Along with Mata Mahakali, Devi Hinglaj, Pancho Bawri , Rehpa Chaudhary, Baba budh Singh, Mata masani , Mata shitala , Yamuna mayyia , Guru Gorakhnath, Guru Garab and power of 5 veer move with them And naugaja peer and peer of khata is also run with their pairs

Biography

Baba Amar singh Pawan is considered to be an incarnation of lord Shiva. He is worshiped in the child form of Shiva . His Guru is Gorakhnath and mother's name is mesri and father's name is Fakira .

According to folk music and story, Baba Amar Singh Pawan is also known by the name Amara. And he was born in Katha village. According to the story, when mother Mesri came to pluck wood with Amra, a cobra stung the child Amra there. Then all the people of the village gathered and the snake charmer was called. When nothing happened to the snake charmer, then on the behest of the people, Mata Mesri drowned Amra in the flowing stream of Yamuna river. And mother Mesri gave up her life in separation from her son. Maata Nathiya saw a child coming flowing in the flowing stream of Mother Yamuna. Mata Nathiya took that boy out of Yamuna river and Mata Yamuna appeared and asked Nathiya to take Amra to Goddess Hinglaj. Mata Nathiya pleased Goddess Hinglaj by performing severe penance and made Amara immortal. Mata Hinglaj gave Amra a new name Amar Singh Pawan and also gave her a boon of Vajra's body. Mata Nathia taught education to Baba Amar Singh Pawan in Dhaka Bengale, Rajasthan. Mata Nathia sent child Amar Singh Pawan to Guru Gorakhnath and he gave a boon of five veer from Guru Gorakhnath. And also gave Dhuni Mai. Baba Amar Singh Pawan did penance from Shiva and took a boon of 14 arts from him and Shiva gave Amar Singh Pawan a boon to be worshiped in his child form. And ordered to do good to everyone in Kalyug. Baba Amar Singh Pawan learned magic from Guru Garab and after saving his life accepted him as his Guru. And did good to the world by meeting Mata Nathia and the five Bawaris.

Temple

The first service of Baba Amar Singh Pawan was done by Bhuria Maman of Jasore Khede Haryana and his temple was built by late Shri Ramphal Guru at Yamuna Ramghat Wazirabad Delhi, the son of Ramphal Guru ji was Shri Kalli Guru Ji. And Jumma Guru formed a new line of them and even today the statue of late Shri Rajesh Karotiya Guru is established in Yamuna Ramghat Wazirabad Delhi. A fair is held here every Sunday and on the Jyestha month of Ganga Dussehra, all the devotees come at Yamuna and take blessings Baba Amar Singh Pawan. And in addition to this, there is also a temple of Baba Amar Singh Pawan in Katha village.
