Samuel Aniekan Benjamin (born September 15, 1988), who performs under the stage name BJ Sam,[1] <[2] is a Nigerian recording artist, singer-songwriter and author. He has released two independent albums, Sweet Melody (2016) and Love (2018).[3] In 2017 the American film director Lloyd Kaufman selected his song Mon Amour as the soundtrack for the Hollywood movie titled Heart of Fatness. [4] [5]
Career
BJ Sam was born in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. He joined a classical mass choir in Ibadan consisting of different professional singers at age 15.[6]
His album Love" was released on November 27, 2018, Sound of Melody on September 4, 2020.[7]
