Azossim is a small village of 331 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Azossim depends on GOA VELHA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Azossim is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Azossim's pin code is 403101[5], and village code is 00007700. The area of Azossim is segregated as 292.74 hectares unirrigated, the 16.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Azossim is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1142 and has total administration over 270 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOA VELHA and North Goa to sell bakery products and make their living.
