AyoAA is an American record producer and songwriter. He has produced for artists such as Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and Fivio Foreign, among others.[1] He is best known for his production on Kanye West's platinum-selling single "Off the Grid",[2] Kanye West - 'Donda' (Production Credits) Fivio Foreign, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys' "City of Gods"[3] in addition to many of the songs on Fivio Foreign's B.I.B.L.E., Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's album Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, and Kanye West's demo tapes Donda and Donda 2.[4]
Early life
AyoAA was born in 1998 in Queens, NY. At the age of 9, he began learning percussion. His early musical influences include Blink-182, Sum 41, Green Day, and HIM. His parents purchased him a drum set which he would play frequently throughout middle school. In high school, AyoAA took up music production classes, and continued to do so throughout his time in college.
Musical career
In September 2020, AyoAA met Fivio Foreign at a movie theater in Queens. The two quickly developed a friendship, and AyoAA was signed to Columbia Records as a record producer for Fivio, assisting with composition and production on his 2022 album B.I.B.L.E.. In his time at Columbia, AyoAA assisted in the production on the single "City of Gods",[5] a collab track between Fivio and Kanye West.
In 2021, AyoAA was invited to assist on the production of Kanye or Ye's coming album Donda 2. He later went on to help produce several tracks for Ye, including "Fuk Sumn" on Vultures 1, "River", "Slide", and "Promotion" and "Time Moving Slow" on Vultures 2, and the as yet unreleased Kanye track "Mr. Miyagi".[6]
