Aye Kyaw Min (born 1976) is a Burmese writer and language educator known for his contributions to the study and promotion of the Burmese language. He has authored over a dozen books focusing on Burmese grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and writing skills.
Early Life and Education
Aye Kyaw Min was born in 1976 in Paletwa, Chin State, Myanmar. He completed his high school education at Paletwa High School in 1995. He later earned a Bachelor's degree in Burmese from a local university in 2002. Additionally, he attended business law training at Yangon University and completed an English language program at the University of Foreign Languages in Yangon.
Career
In 2003, Aye Kyaw Min began his career as a government employee in the Myanmar Agricultural Produce Trading sector. However, he left public service in 2014 to focus fully on his literary pursuits. Between 2004 and 2010, he served as an executive member of the Paletwa Township Social Association (Yangon).
His literary journey started in high school, writing poems and short stories for wall magazines. He made his first professional appearance in the literary world with a film critique article in Han Thit magazine. Since then, he has written extensively for various publications, including topics such as film critique, book reviews, Burmese spelling, and translated humor pieces.
Aye Kyaw Min currently works as an editor at Wisdom House publishing house and serves as an executive member of the Myanmar Printers and Publishers Association. He is also involved in editing manuscripts, teaching Burmese language and literature, and developing educational content.
