Awalpura is a small village of 215 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Awalpura depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Awalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Awalpura's pin code is 327022[4], and village code is 03417700. The area of Awalpura is segregated as 63 hectares irrigated area, 68 hectares unirrigated, the 28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56 hectare area not available for cultivation.
