Aturli is a small village of 68 hectares in Bicholim Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Aturli depends on BICHOLIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Aturli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Aturli's pin code is 403504[5], and village code is 00009900. The area of Aturli is segregated as 13.66 hectares irrigated area, 45.79 hectares unirrigated, the 2.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 6.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Aturli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Aturli is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 467 and has total administration over 112 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BICHOLIM and North Goa to sell coconut and make their living.
