Throughout his career, Atle Midttun has conducted numerous research projects covering diverse areas such as energy, sustainability and corporate responsibility, financed by Norwegian and EU research councils, Innovation Norway and energy industry. In his research he has combined a broad societal perspective from economic sociology and political economy with strategy and innovation perspectives at the business level.[1][2] .[2]
