Atlassian Corporation Plc is a software firm based in Australia that creates solutions aimed at software engineers, project managers, and other software development teams. The company's legal base of operations is in the United Kingdom, while its worldwide headquarters are located in Sydney, Australia, and its American headquarters are located in San Francisco.

Atlassian claimed servicing 242,623 clients in over 190 countries during the fourth fiscal quarter of 2022. The company also said that 10 million people were using their service on a monthly basis. The number of workers at the firm was 8,813 as of June 2022. Atlassian has offices located in 13 different countries throughout the globe, including Amsterdam, Austin, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Mountain View, Manila, Yokohama, Bangalore, and Sydney. The worldwide staff that Atlassian employs is spread across the globe.

Atlassian was established in the year 2002 by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar. When they were both students at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, they had the opportunity to meet one another. They self-funded the firm for the first several years, using credit card debt totaling $10,000 as their primary source of capital.

Jira, a project and problem tracker, was first introduced by Atlassian in the year 2002 as their main product. Confluence, a platform for team collaboration that enables users to work together on projects, co-create content, and exchange documents and other media assets, was first made available by the company in the year 2004.

Atlassian does not employ a conventional sales force; the company generates revenue entirely via its website and the channels provided by its partners.
