Assin Godstime (born March 3, 1990) is a Nigerian writer, journalist, historian, and legal professional. He has authored numerous books and is known for his work in literature and journalism.[1][2]
Early Life and Education
Assin Godstime was born to parents of Urhobo extraction. His father, reportedly one of the earliest educated Urhobo people, emphasized the importance of education for his children. Assin pursued higher education in law and holds a certificate in Journalism from institutions in Nigeria.[1][3]Godstime was born in Eghudu village, Ovia North East Local Government Area, Edo State, Nigeria. He pursued higher education at the University of Benin, Benin-City and Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, where he studied law. Godstime also holds a certificate in Journalism from institutions in Nigeria.
Literary Career
Assin began his writing career in 2005 with the publication of his first book. He has since authored several works, including:[1][2]

Assin is credited with creating "Urhobo Current Affairs,[3]" described as Nigeria's only ethnic Current Affairs publication. Some of his books have been approved for use in secondary school education in several Nigerian states and adopted in other African countries such as Ghana and Kenya.[8][2]
Business Ventures
Assin serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pen-Digital Nigeria Publishers, a publishing firm based in Benin City, Nigeria.[8]
