Asim Riaz is an Indian model, actor, rapper and fitness specialist.[1] He is best known for his recent appearance in the reality TV show Bigg Boss, and formerly for being the face of BlackBerry, Numero Uno, and B’lue. He has gained mass following on his social networks.
Born in Jammu, Riaz has gained attention during his time at Bigg Boss house. He has been able to build mass following on his social handles with his videos related to fitness and bodybuilding. Riaz was a runner-up of the Bigg Boss season 13.
Riaz was featured in music videos including Neha Kakkar's Kalla Sona hai[2] and Arman Malik's Veham.[3]
Early Life
Riaz was born on 13 July 1993 (Age: 26 years, as in 2019) in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India. He acquired his primary education from Delhi Public School, Jammu and has a graduate degree in Marketing. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Family
His father, Riaz Ahmed Choudhary is a retired IAS officer in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. His brother's name is Umar Riaz who is a general surgeon based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. [4]
Career
He has featured in Indian television commercials such as Blackberrys, B'lue, Numero Uno, Royal Enfield, etc. He has also modeled for leading brands like Lenskart. He had played a minor role in David Dhawan's film, Main Tera Hero. He gained popularity after he made his Indian television debut in Bigg Boss 13. [5]
Music career
Riaz started his music career as a rapper and released his first song Back to Start. The song was composed by Charan and directed by Jay Singal. The song gained some early popularity due to Riaz's following and helped him in gaining some early success. He released another song, King Kong in 2021 on YouTube, this song was also composed and directed by the same team. Riaz was often seen performing at stage and television, where he has appeared in 2021.
In 2022, Riaz has released another song, Tera Bhai featuring himself in the video. The song was about his brother Umar Riaz, who was participating in Bigg Boss 15.[6] In March 2022, another song Khuda Se Dar was released.[7][8]

In 2022, Pakistani singer Shuja Haider alleged Riaz for copying his music for his song, Piya re Piya.[10]
Personal life
Riaz is known for his extravagant lifestyle and motivating youngster for body building. He is dating his Bigg Boss contestant, Himanshi Khurana.
