Ashim Kemson (born 27 March 1990) is an Indian Singer, Music Composer and Lyricist predominantly working in Hindi and Punjabi film Industry. He received wide recognition for his song “Haiwaan” featured in the 2023 film "Animal”.
Early Life
Ashim was born and brought up in Ludhiana, Punjab and attended Wylie Memorial High School. In pursuance of his musical journey Ashim first shifted to Delhi but later shifted base to Mumbai on 14th February 2012.
Career
Ashim featured in in the movie Kabir Singh by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in which he sang two verses of his song “Jatt Da”. Ashim’s major recognition was his song “Haiwaan” picked by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his 2023 movie "Animal". Ashim was the Singer, Music Composer and Lyricist of “Haiwaan”. The Animal soundtrack garnered various accolades and awards including Filmfare, IIFA, Mirchi Music Awards etc. Ashim's song "Sharminda Hoon" is part of an Indo-American production movie named “Harami” . For the Netflix film “Rakkhosh” he wore several hats, including Music Composer, Singer, Lyricist, and Actor.
