Ashby Florence (born November 22, 2000) is a content creator originally from Washington, D.C..[1] She is known for posting videos and hosting livestreams. Though she began posting on TikTok in 2019, she gained an influx of followers in 2025 following her viral videos dressed as Alexander Hamilton and the Lorax, famously going from 10,000 to 1.4 million followers in one week. Florence is employed as a full-time graphic designer while maintaining her online presence.

Early Career
Growing up, Ashby Florence trained 5 days a week in various classes and pre-professional programs for her musical theater and film career. Ultimately, due to finances, Ashby chose to pursue a "safer" career as a designer.As a college student in December 2019[2], Ashby Florence operated her own small business [3], offering custom graphic designs and portraits. In 2020, the New York Times featured Florence's work in an article titled "Turn Your Relationship Into a Work of Art"[4].

Ashby Florence is a graphic designer and a content creator who posts content on TikTok[5], Instagram[6], and YouTube[7]. She is a production artist at Skybound Entertainment, where she has been employed since August 2023[2].
Florence gained over 2.5 million followers on TikTok in in span of 2 months[8], following a video she posted of herself dressed as Alexander Hamilton. The video, which has received over 2 million likes, features Florence's Hamilton singing along to the lyrics of "Best of Wives, Best of Women" and attempting to climb out of a window[9]. Florence has also received attention online from TikTok character livestreams. After the popularity of the Lorax and Hamilton, characters featured include Dobby from the Harry Potter series, Gru from Despicable Me, and Megamind from Megamind. Initially streamed live on TikTok, several of her in-character videos are posted on her YouTube channel[7].
After her Hamilton videos gained traction online, Florence attended the premiere for the theatrical release of Hamilton’s 10th anniversary special. She appeared on the carpet, donned her Hamilton costume, and her interview with Lin-Manuel Miranda at the event was later posted by the official Disney Instagram account[10].
