Asasar is a small village of 1739 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Asasar depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Asasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Asasar's pin code is 331403[4], and village code is 00615500. The area of Asasar is segregated as 1450.29 hectares unirrigated, the 191.71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 97.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARDARSHAHAR and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
