Asad Israili 01 January 1952 – 8 May 2005 was an Indian Islamic scholar. He was known as "Mufassir e Quran" because of his relentless endeavor to demonstrate the teachings of Quran transparently.[1]
He got primary education from his father at Madrasa Sirajul Uloom Hilali Sarai Sambhal later on graduated from Darul Uloom Deoband[2] . He then moved to Rampur where he first edited a journal called Uhad [3] later joined Idaara e Alhasnat, Rampur as a columnist, while working there he penned several books, most notably "Janm se Maut tak" later published from "Idaara e Alhasnat, Rampur" [4] he'd worked as a teacher of Arabic at "Jamiatussualehat, Rampur". Asad Israili (Alias "Asad bhai") later got associated with "Universal peace foundation, Delhi" as General Secretary[5] where his literary contributions became widely acknowledged among certain religious and ethnic groups. He represents true essence of Islam in brief and beautiful manner in his writings.[2]. He penned and compiled several books most notably "Deen aur Dawat", "Ujalon ka Qafila" [6]
