Aryasb Feiz is an Iranian animator, director, and educator, who primarily works in computer-generated (CG) animation.

Early life and education

Feiz was born and raised in Shiraz, Iran. He developed a passion for animation in his childhood, through animated films such as 101 Dalmatians and Aladdin.

He studied painting at Azad University in Tehran and took online courses with AnimationMentor. During his education, he also worked part-time as an animator.

Career

After finishing his studies at AnimationMentor in 2012,[1] Feiz began his animation career as a supervisor in a local studio, contributing to various TV commercials. Editing a short film piqued his interest in directing and storytelling.

In 2014, Aryasb founded BadStache Studio, aiming to produce original short animations.[1]

His directorial debut was the short film Tomorrow., which follows a 10-year-old street urchin in 20th-century Iran.[1] The film was screened at the St. Louis International Film Festival in 2023[2] and won Best Animated Short at Foyle Film Festival that same year.[3]

Feiz's short film Mr. Indifferent has gained traction on YouTube.
