Aryan Khan (born November 13, 1997) is an Indian entrepreneur, director, and writer.[1] He is the eldest son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri Khan. Aryan has ventured into the entertainment industry, not as an actor, but as a filmmaker and businessman.​[2][3]

Early Life and Education

Aryan Khan was born in New Delhi, India. He has two younger siblings: Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. He pursued his higher education at the University of Southern California, where he studied filmmaking and writing.​

Career

Filmmaking

In 2024, Aryan announced his directorial debut with a Netflix series produced by his mother, Gauri Khan, under Red Chillies Entertainment.[4] The series explores the journey of an outsider in Bollywood and marks Aryan's entry into the world of filmmaking.​[5]

Entrepreneurship

In 2022, Aryan co-founded Slab Ventures, a company that launched the luxury collective brand D'yavol. The brand focuses on high-end fashion and lifestyle products, reflecting Aryan's interest in luxury branding and entrepreneurship.​[6]

Personal Life

Aryan maintains a relatively private personal life. He is known to be close to his family and often avoids the limelight, focusing instead on his professional pursuits.[7]

Controversies

In 2021, Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during a raid on a cruise ship.[8] He was detained for 26 days but was later granted bail due to a lack of substantial evidence. In 2022, he was given a clean chit, clearing him of all charges.[9]
