Arvindr Khaira (born October 27, 1988) is an Indian film and music director who has mainly worked in Punjabi film songs and music videos. He is the co-founder of Virsa Arts, a production company.[1]
Khaira has directed and produced music videos for several popular Punjabi songs, notable among them being "Mann Bharrya," "Kya Baat Ay," "Qismat," "Titliaan," “Filhall,” and "Pachtaoge."
Early life and education
Khaira was born and raised in Nabha, Patiala, Punjab. He completed his early education at Malwa Public School. He obtained a diploma in mechanical engineering, followed by a B.Tech. in computer science from Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar. He also holds a postgraduation from RIMT, Gobindgarh.
Khaira's interest in videography was sparked in his ninth-grade year when his father gifted him a camera.
Career
After completing his education, Khaira delved into cinematography. He established his production company, Virsa Arts, alongside co-founder Navjit Buttar. Khaira’s first project was of M.Safi’s “Nishaniaan.”[2]
In 2013, Khaira achieved a breakthrough with the direction of the music video for "Soch" by Hardy Sandhu. In the subsequent years, he directed notable Punjabi songs such as "Mann Bharrya" (2017) by B Praak, "Qismat" (2017) by Ammy Virk, "Filhall" (2016) by B Praak, and "Tu Yaad Aya" (2020) by Adnan Sami.[3]
In 2015, Khaira made his Bollywood debut with the song "All Of Me (Baarish)" by Arjun and Tulsi Kumar.[4]
Khaira’s recent hits include "Psycho" (2023), "Kya loge tum" (2023), "Fakeeran" (2022), "Romaana" (2022), and "Kudiyan Lahore Diyan" (2022).[5]
Throughout his career, Khaira has directed music videos for distinguished Punjabi and Bollywood artists, including Harrdy Sandhu, Asees Kaur, B Praak, Jaani, Himanshi Khurana, Sagar Midda, Tanishk Bagchi, and Zahrah S Khan.[6]
Khaira has directed the music video for "Allah De Bandeya," performed by B Praak and featuring Aly Goni and Jasmine Bhasin.[7]
Additionally, he entered the realm of Punjabi film production with the release of the movie "Jatt Nu Chudail Takri" on March 15, 2024.[8]

Khaira married his wife, Lavika Singh, in 2022. He is an avid collector of branded shoes and sunglasses.
