Arthoona is a small village of 367 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Arthoona depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 14.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Arthoona is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Arthoona's pin code is 327032[4], and village code is 03421800. The area of Arthoona is segregated as 208 hectares irrigated area, 85 hectares unirrigated, the 58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Arthoona is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5152 and has total administration over 1031 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
