Arnold Henry Glasow (January 6, 1905 - August 25, 1998) was an American comedian and businessman.
Early life
He was born in Fond-du-lac, Wisconsin and graduated from Ripon College. After the Great Depression, he moved to Freeport, Illinois and started a humor magazine that he marketed to businesses throughout the country. He ran the business for over 60 years. [1][2][3] He was married to his wife, Ethel Glasow, who assisted him with his business. [1]
Books
Glasow published several books that reflect his wit and observations from his experiences in business. He published "Glasow's Gloombusters" in 1944, "A Light Heart Lives Long" in 1964, and "Don't Die Until You Read This!" in 1973. [1]
Death
Arnold H. Glasow died in Freeport, Illinois on August 25, 1998 at the age of 93. [1]
