Arniya Kankar is a small village of 547 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Arniya Kankar depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Arniya Kankar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Arniya Kankar's pin code is 304801[4], and village code is 02601100. The area of Arniya Kankar is segregated as 81.1 hectares irrigated area, 253.1 hectares unirrigated, the 113.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
