Ariana Nabaey born October 12, 1993 in Karaj, Iran).[1][2] is an Iranian professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division of Cage Warriors[3]. A professional competitor since 2019, Nabaey has also formerly competed for the Cage Warriors, Zonefc, Superriorchalleng, AK championship and the Superleague[4]
Early Life and Education
Nabaey was born on October 12, 1993, in Karaj, Iran. From a young age, he displayed an interest in wrestling. He has played in local and national tournaments gaining experience against international wrestlers.
Career
Nabaey transitioned to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) after honing his wrestling skills. He began his professional training in Thailand, where he spent six months each year at a training camp. In 2019, he immigrated to Turkey to further his career.
Nabaey has earned accolades, including two Georgian league belts and one Azerbaijani league belt, and is recognized as one of the most talented Iranian fighters in the sport.
Competing across multiple weight classes, including Featherweight, Middleweight, and Welterweight, Nabaey is ranked #2,030 among MMA fighters in the Eurasia region and holds additional rankings in the Caucasus sub-region. His professional MMA record stands at 5 wins and 2 losses, with his last fight taking place on July 26, 2024.
