Arc Manor is an award-winning press based in Rockville, Maryland.[1][2][3] It was created by Shahid Mahmoud in 2006.[4]
Arc Manor publishes books in various genres, including science fiction and fantasy, westerns, mysteries, and romance through several imprints.
While originally established primarily as a print-on-demand and eBooks, books published via it’s Caezik imprint are traditionally distributed through Consortium.
Arc Manor also sponsors the annual Mike Resnick Memorial Award[5][6] for short fiction in partnership with Dragon Con.[7][8][9]
Inprints
Phoenix Pick’s focus is on reprints and select new titles as print on demand books and eBooks.
Caezik’s emphasis in on new books with select reprints that require a more traditional distribution system. Currently all Caezik titles are represented for distribution by Consortium. The Pursuit of the Pankera, a novel by the Robert A. Heinlein, based on a rediscovered was published by Caezik SF & Fantasy in 2020.[10][11][12]
Galaxy’s Edge was a speculative fiction magazine which was published from 2013 to 2023. It was originally created by five-time Hugo winner Mike Resnick who edited it till his death in 2020, after which Lezli Robyn become the editor. In 2023 the magazine was converted into a bi-annual themed anthology.
