Arash Azizi is an Iranian historian, and writer currently contirbuter to The Atlantic. He also serving as a visiting fellow at Boston University's Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. He contributes to The Atlantic and has authored notable works on Middle Eastern affairs.
Early Life and Education
Born and raised in Tehran, Azizi pursued higher education in the United States. He earned his PhD in History and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University (NYU), focusing his dissertation on the communist movement in the Middle East during the global Cold War.
