Aodhán O'Hara (born February 14, 1999) is an Irish-Canadian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Manchester 62 F.C. in the Gibraltar Football League.
Career
Youth
Born in Barrie, Ontario, O'Hara played club soccer with Barrie SC,[1] before joining the Toronto FC academy in 2014.[2] He later joined Vaughan Azzurri, helping them win the 2016 OYSL championship and the 2016 and 2017 Ontario Cup, scoring an 85th-minute goal in a 5-1 victory over Woodbridge Strikers.[3] In the summer of 2022, O'Hara also appeared for League1 Ontario side Simcoe County Rovers FC, making six appearances.[4]
College
In 2017, O'Hara attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham to play college soccer. In four seasons, O'Hara made 63 appearances, scoring 9 goals for the Blazers.[5] Due to COVID-19, an extra year of eligibility saw him transfer to California State University, Bakersfield, Bakersfield.[6] He appeared 17 times, scoring 5 goals for the Roadrunners.[7][8]
Professional
On August 27, 2022 , O'Hara signed a professional deal with Gibraltar Football League side Manchester 62 F.C..[9] He made his debut October 1, 2022, seeing 90 minutes in a 3-0 loss to Lincoln Red Imps F.C.[10]
