Anne Smith is an Australian artist.[1] and Director of Falls Gallery at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains.

Anne was born in England in 1950 and arrived in Australia in 1971. She graduated from Sydney University. Smith is regarded as one of Australia's finest printmakers[2] and has collaborated on various series of etchings with many award-winning artists such as Gary Shead and Wendy Sharpe.

She has exhibited since 1968, and has had numerous solo exhibitions in Australia, the U.K. and Japan.

In addition to her own gallery, she has work in the permanent collection of the Australian National Gallery, Canberra, as part of the Sydney Printmakers Portfolio of Etchings[3].

Her paintings have been hung in the Blake exhibition and the Portia Geach portrait prize exhibition. Her work appears in the University of Technology, Sydney, Trinity Grammar School, Sydney and numerous institutional and private collections in Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA and Japan.[4][5]
