Dr. Anne Clark is an American Engineer and is currently a member of the senior leadership team and Chief Scientist for the Air National Guard Programs Division (ANGPD) in the Electronic Systems Laboratory at Georgia Tech Research Institute where she oversees the organization's Independent Research and Development (IRAD) portfolio and develops strategies to promote and enhance the program office's technical capabilities.

Previously, Anne was the commander of Air Force Research Laboratory Aerospace Systems Directorate Detachment 7 at Edwards Air Force Base where she was the responsible for the work and wellbeing of 500 military, civilian and contractor personnel at the laboratory's $2.5 billion, 65-square-mile research site.[1] She also directed safety, security and logistics compliance activities supporting research and development operations valued at over $110 million per year[1].

She also served as Military Assistant and Deputy to the Chief Scientist of the United States Air Force (a three-star equivalent) in the Pentagon and head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Dean of the Faculty, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado (where she provided leadership for a 23-person academic department teaching 25 academic courses to approximately 2,000 cadets annually).[2]

Education

Anne Clark holds undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics from the Air Force Academy, a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin[2].
