Ankit Kumar Pandey (born 22 May 2001) is an Indian Sports Personality, Co-Founder & President of Self Defense Association (Uttar Pradesh). National Referee & Judge at United Amature Muaythai Association India. His career has started in the year 2009, when he was just 9 year old. Valuable medals in his career, including National Referee & Judge Awards (Muaythai) and several Reputed Achievements in varied sports categories. Ankit Kumar Pandey was born in Buxar, Bihar, India he belongs to an Army background due to this they used to shift from place to place and finally in the year January 2004 they shifted to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. After that he got an admission in Kids Gurukul , where he got selected in schools sports team and got a chance to play Kick Boxing championship 2009 in Raebareli there he got Silver Medal in Heavy Weight. He made his School proud and got popular in his city. This incident made him more passionate about sports meanwhile he also got a chance to play karate in Chandawak in 2009 and participated in many co-curricular activities but he also continued his main sport Kick Boxing at various District level most of them were really great matches. This creates a bit of distraction in his studies but he knows how to multitask. From behalf of his school he represented himself in Sultanpur KickBoxing Championship in the year 2010 where he won Bronze Medal. His parents then decided to change a school for him and he got admission in Army School named R.S. Convent Sainik School. This has also changes him now he started focusing on studies instead of Sports and he also excel in the studies, classmates used to treat him like a leader and teachers decided to made him monitor of the class but thereafter a new sports teacher came in the school admire the performance of him while practicing and motivated him again for playing sports, but this time he got a chance to play a new form of game named Kung-Fu Wushu, got selection in district, state and finally 13th National Championship selection where he wins Gold Medal at age of 16th in Nashik, Maharastra 2016–17. Again he got his charm back and became famous in the society. Parents were very proud that he continued his passion for sports and started playing many District, State, National Championships. In the year 2017-18 got a chance to play National level championship 14th in Telangana, Hyderabad where again he won Gold Medal. Next up Championship was in Lucknow but before that he faced an injury ignoring that he decided to play and wins a Silver Medal for the sports name Kung-fu he always use to participate in various sports like KickBoxing, Kung-fu Wushu, Karate, Taekwondo, Kung-Fu. He want to explore more and more sports as he can, in 2017-18 he played Kung-fu Wushu First Federation Cup in Amritsar, Punjab there he honoured by a Gold Cup after that he also qualified National Instructor Course for Kung-Fu Wushu at the age of just 18th year people are recognising him as a great player and intrustor he does his job with full passion and started training other students in between he made full efforts to make himself fit in the year of 2018-19 he got an offer from Jorethang Federation for National Referee & Judge where after passing examination he got selected for Muaythai India National Federation and got a Certificate there. Due to this dedication towards sports he hardly got very less time for enjoying festivals and family occasions. In the year of 2018-19 April he went to Jammu & Kashmir for Federation Cup & Women's League where he got Grade C for National Referee & Judge. In the same year July he went to Panaji|Panaji, Goa for Muaythai National Championship and got Grade C in October 2018 where his name got name well known, he got an offer from Gorakhpur Muaythai Association for Judge & Referee there with the performance the crowd got happy with decision because of the well known appreciable performance in Gorakhpur he got Grade up in November 2018 in Pune Championship where now Muaythai India National Federation changes to United Amature Muaythai Association India which became combine of all the Muaythai Federation of (India). With this he also continued his studies with this huge popularity and passion he had made a District Representative of Kung-fu, also District Representative of Kick Boxing.

Ankit Kumar Pandey in mid of 2018 got an offer from National Self Defense Federation for joining them as State Representative of Uttar Pradesh as Self Defense Association (Uttar Pradesh). He accepted this offer because the aim of the Organisation was really impressive and the inner voice of Pandey always wanted to do something great for society. Now he's giving full focus to this and started making his own team for getting it registered under Uttar Pradesh Government and there he explain his work to the registrar after listening to Pandey the people over there appreciated his step taking towards the welfare of the society. It was not a small thing to do but for him it was just a beginning. After he got registered his main aim is to spread this association throughout Uttar Pradesh. According to him the aim of this Self Defense Association (Uttar Pradesh) is to achieve a high level of training to protect you completely and try to push you up through Self Defense and break a person's nervousness to understood yourself in critical situation. Even though in this future oriented generation the mindset of people about Self Defense is only concerned for women safety but it's not true because this is an essential need for human being.

Family Background

Ankit Kumar Pandey was born in a Brahman Family his village where Grandparents live was in Garh Nokha, Bihar, India and his father Kameshwar Pandey was a retired Indian Army Major Subedaar and mother Rita Pandey is an Housewife|Home Maker. He has two siblings and he was the youngest among them. His brother name Amit Kumar Pandey and sister Nishi Pandey, Ankit Kumar Pandey is very attached to his mother because he always respect the sacrifices made by her for growing them.He always used to support his big brother and there relationship was like friend. He usually talks very less to his father because of his strict nature but internally he respects him a lot. He lives in a nuclear family but has many relatives and they were very close to them. His sister is appearing for Naturopathy and Yogic Science and soon to be a doctor, brother owns a sainik school. The main supporter for his Sports career was his brother & mother even though the whole family felt so proud for his huge achievements in Sports. He has three cousins brother's also with whom he very attached and sharing a very good bond they were live in Arrah|Arrah, Bihar, India. == Sports Career ==He started his career when he was just 9 year old with the game name KickBoxing and continue with many sports like Kung-Fu, Kung-fu Wushu, and Muaythai, he got many medals and appreciations finally became National Referee & Judge of Muaythai currently working in his own organisation name Self Defense Association (Uttar Pradesh).
