Ankit Anand (also known as Ankit Anand Bhojpuriya) is an Indian politician and social activist affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He is a former district spokesperson and has been actively involved in civic advocacy, cultural activities, and public campaigns in the region.

Early life

Ankit Anand was born and brought up in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Limited public records are available about his education. He became associated with social work and public service at a young age.

Political career

Ankit Anand began his political journey as the media in-charge of the BJP’s Ghorabandha unit. He later served as district media in-charge and spokesperson for the party.[1]

He founded the Shiksha Satyagraha campaign for education reform and is involved with the Sanatan Utsav Samiti, a regional cultural organization.[2]

In 2016, Anand led a ghat-cleaning drive at a local lake for Chhath Puja, mobilizing community support through Bhojpuri Navchetna Manch.[3]

He also demanded the formation of District Police Complaint Authorities in Jharkhand in accordance with Supreme Court guidelines.[4]
