Ankhol is a small village of 1308 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ankhol depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 29.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ankhol is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ankhol's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02320400. The area of Ankhol is segregated as 623 hectares irrigated area, 565 hectares unirrigated, the 46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 74 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
