Anjali Phougat is an Indian fashion designer. She is the founder of Designer Dream Collection, a Clothing in India clothing brand based in Ohio, United States.

Career

Phougat was born in India and later migrated to the United States. She started her career in fashion industry as a model and designer and eventually opened her clothing brand "Designer Dream Collection" in 2019 in the United States.[1] Her designed collection has been displayed at several shows and in magazines including the New York Fashion Week and Vogue (magazine)|Vogue.[2]

In early 2021, she wrote and produced a short film Inclusion Through Unity about gender inequality and LGBT rights problems, which was screened at 2021 Cannes Film Festival and received Global Short Film Awards in Best Short Film category.[1][3]

News reported in September 2021 that Anjali was helping in designing outfits for the Ohio State University fashion show to fundraise money to fight against Domestic violence in the United States|domestic violence and Human trafficking in the United States|human trafficking, as the Human trafficking in Ohio|trafficking is at peak in the state for recent years.[4][5]

She has also been working with actress Somy Ali for charity.[6]
